Kenneth J. Coleman
Ken Coleman provides more than 20 years of experience in the financial service industry including insurance, banking and wealth management. As a Managing Partner at Fairport Asset Management, Ken provides leadership in the areas of Human Resources, Compliance, Finance, Operations, Information Technology and Client Teams.
Ken has been with Fairport since its founding, having joined Roulston & Co. in 1999 holding positions as Chief Marketing Officer, Chief Compliance Officer, Chief Operating Officer and President. Previously, he was a President of National City Bank's Insurance Services Group, and Senior Vice President with Capital American.
Ken is a graduate of Ashland University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Management and Economics.
Active in the local community, Ken serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Midtown Cleveland, Inc. and as a board member of a private family foundation.
Ken resides in Chagrin Falls with his wife Jan and has two children and two grandchildren.

Heather R. Ettinger
Heather Ettinger provides over 25 years of financial industry experience including leadership roles in trading, sales and strategic planning. As a Managing Partner of Fairport Asset Management, Heather specializes in helping clients and their families create strategic financial plans to guide them through life transitions, such as the loss of a spouse, divorce, selling a business, retirement and job changes. In 2008, Wealth Management magazine named Heather one of the Top 50 Distinguished Women in Wealth Management.
Heather is widely recognized for her unique expertise, experience and dedication to helping other women build their financial acumen and wealth, both in her professional practice and community involvement.
Having joined Roulston & Co. in 1987, Heather has been with Fairport since its founding. Previously, she served as an Equity Trader for Jefferies and a Research Analyst for Bordier & Cie and Baring Brothers.
Heather remains an ardent supporter of her alma maters including Dartmouth College, where she earned a B.A., and Laurel School, where she served on the Board of Directors for 13 years. Additional board engagements include University Hospital Health Systems, United Way of Greater Cleveland, In Counsel with Women, Sisters of Charity Foundation and the Tri-C Foundation. Heather also sits on the Board of The Private Trust Company and Pro's Corporation.
Heather lives in Shaker Heights with her husband and three children. In her free time, she enjoys playing ice hockey, snow skiing and rock climbing.

Paul R. Abbey
With more than 35 years of investment advisory and wealth management experience, Paul Abbey has enjoyed a distinguished career in the investment industry. He serves as Chairman and Founding Partner of Fairport Asset Management. Paul is responsible for providing investment services to clients and leading a team of professionals. His passion for the industry and relationship building is evidenced by his many longtime, loyal clients.
Fairport is the merger of Roulston and Company and The Hickory Group, a firm that Paul founded in 1988. Prior to founding The Hickory Group, Paul worked for Prescott Ball and Turben as an investment broker and Senior Vice President for 12 years. Previous to that, he was with National City Bank.
Prior to receiving his MBA at Baldwin Wallace, Paul graduated from the College of Wooster, where he remains active as a Trustee and a member of the school's Investment and Finance and Development Committees.
Paul is also Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for The Holden Arboretum and the immediate past Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Visiting Nurse Association. Paul resides in Kirtland with his wife Connie and has three daughters. In his free time, he enjoys golf, fly fishing and upland bird shooting.

Andrew R. Connors, CFP®
Andrew Connors is a Certified Financial Planner® with more than 15 years of experience in the personal financial management arena. As a Vice President and Adviser with Fairport Asset Management, Andrew offers comprehensive financial planning and investment services that are tailored for the unique needs of each client. He focuses much of his time advising family and closely held businesses and is known for his ability to translate complex financial strategies and concepts into understandable and actionable ideas.
Prior to receiving his MBA from Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University, Andrew attended John Carroll University where he earned his B.S.B.A. He has also earned his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation from the College of Financial Planning.
Andrew currently serves on the Executive and Advisory board to the John Carroll Entrepreneurs Association. He is also a Board Trustee and member of the Finance Committee for Esperanza. He is also a member of the Cleveland Chapters of the Estate Planning Council and Financial Planning Association.
Andrew and his wife Anne-Marie live in Chesterland and have twin boys. He balances his love for good food and wine with spending time outdoors and staying active through hiking, biking and fishing.

Richard D'Amico, CFA
Richard D'Amico, a CFA charterholder, serves as Fairport Asset Management's Manager of Investments. In this role, he oversees the implementation of the firm's fixed income models and is responsible for the review and oversight of Fairport's alternative investments and strategies.
Rick brings over 10 years of experience to the Investment Team and has been with the firm since the summer of 2009. Rick most recently served as a market risk review analyst at KeyBank. Prior to KeyBank, he worked as a licensed equity research analyst at Great Lakes Capital Partners, LTD, covering regional bank and thrift companies.
Rick lives in Rocky River with his wife Shannon and son. In his free time, he enjoys playing baseball and spending time outdoors.

Peter P. DeVito, CPA, CFP®
Peter DeVito is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Financial Planner® with more than 20 years of wealth management experience. As a Vice President and Adviser with Fairport Asset Management, Peter provides comprehensive financial planning and investment services to clients and their families. His expertise includes income tax, estate and retirement planning, executive stock option strategies, education funding as well as charitable and wealth transfer planning.
Before joining Fairport in 2005, Peter was a Client Tax Executive at McCormack Advisors International, a former division of IMG. He began his professional career at Ernst & Young in Cleveland.
Peter graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.S.B.A in Accounting. He also earned his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation from the College of Financial Planning. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Ohio Society of CPAs and the Financial Planning Association of Northeast Ohio.
His community involvement includes serving on the Board of Directors and Finance Committee for Merrick House. He is also a member of the St. Richard Parents Club.
He resides in Olmsted Falls with his wife Beth and three sons. In addition to enjoying golf and all other outdoor activities, his family volunteers as a foster home for rescue dogs through the Berea Animal Rescue Shelter.

As a Partner and Senior Adviser with Fairport Asset Management, Emily offers comprehensive financial planning and investment services that are tailored for the uniquely individual needs of each client. Emily is known not only for her deep financial expertise, but also for her attention to the emotional aspects of financial decision making, especially in times of challenging transitions.
Prior to joining Fairport in 2000, Emily held leadership positions at McDonald & Company Investments, Society National Bank, Rinfret Inc. and Drexel, Burnham, Lambert, Inc.
Emily holds a B.S. from Grand Valley State and is a graduate of National Trust Graduate School of Northwestern University. She earned her Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation from the College of Financial Planning.
Emily is immediate past Chairperson of The Benjamin Rose Institute and serves as a member of the Hiram College Board of Visitors, In Council With Women and the Planned Giving Council at the Cleveland Museum of Art. Emily is also a member of the Cleveland Estate Planning Council. Additionally, Emily sits on the United Way of Greater Cleveland's Investment Committee and The Union Club's Women's Committee.
A resident of Cleveland Heights, Emily enjoys spending time outdoors and staying active through hiking, biking, skiing and diving.

As a Certified Public Accountant, Chris provides clients with expert counsel regarding complex tax-related, planning and asset allocation matters.
Before joining Fairport in 2006, Chris was a Vice President and Financial Account Executive at McCormack Advisors International, a former division of IMG. He began his professional career at Price Waterhouse in Cleveland.
Chris graduated from Cleveland State University with a B.B.A in Accounting. Chris is a member of the American Institute of CPAs as well as the Ohio Society of CPAs.
His community involvement includes serving as Chairman of The Cathedral of Saint John the Evangelist Parish Finance Council and Homebound Minister for Saint Luke Parish.
He resides in Rocky River with his wife Carlinne and two children.

J. T. Mullen
J. T. Mullen joined Fairport Asset Management in 2011, bringing more than 30 years of experience as a highly regarded investment and finance professional. As Chief Investment Strategist, J.T. provides leadership and strategic oversight to Fairport's Investment Committee.
J.T. is widely known in the investment community as a creative problem solver, superb listener and effective leader. Among other accolades, he was named 'Chief Financial Officer of the Year' in 2007 for charitable organizations by Crain's Cleveland Business.
Prior to joining Fairport, J.T. was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at The Cleveland Foundation, the second largest community foundation in the country. During his 23 year tenure, he crafted an investment philosophy that led to substantial growth of the foundation's endowment - from $400 million to $1.8 billion. As Chief Financial Officer, he was responsible for managing both the Foundation's investments and its internal financial function. J.T. joined the Cleveland Foundation in 1987 as Controller and was named Chief Financial Officer five years later. He retired from the Foundation in 2010.
Earlier in his career, J.T. was a manager with Arthur Young & Company and also with the Cuyahoga County Board of Commissioners. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Cleveland State University.
J.T. and his wife, Mary, are the proud parents of five children and four grandchildren. An avid sports fan, J.T. follows many teams and players with a statistical acumen that is impressive. He also enjoys playing golf and reading.

With more than 25 years of industry experience, Tom Seifert serves as a Partner and Senior Advisor at Fairport Asset Management. He is responsible for providing comprehensive financial planning and investment services to clients, generating new business and leading a team of professionals. As a Certified Public Accountant, Tom provides clients with expert counsel regarding complex tax-related, planning and asset allocation matters.
Before joining Fairport in 2002, Tom was a Principal at Paragon Advisors, Inc. Earlier his career, he was a Senior Vice President at Sterling, a division of National City Bank. He began his professional career at Price Waterhouse in Cleveland, spending some time in New York City in the national office.
Tom graduated with honors from the University of Notre Dame with a B.B.A in Accounting.
Tom is a member of the American Institute of CPAs as well as the Ohio Society of CPAs. His community involvement includes serving as Vice Chair Finance & Treasurer on the Board of Directors for Beech Brook. He is also a member of the Gesu Parish Endowment Board.
He resides in Pepper Pike with his wife Tracy and two sons. In addition to being an avid runner and golfer, Tom enjoys spending time watching and coaching his children's sports teams.

Emily is a Certified Public Accountant with over 15 years of industry experience. As a Partner and Senior Advisor, she is responsible for providing comprehensive financial planning and investment services to clients, generating new business and leading a team of professionals.
Prior to joining Fairport in 2001, Emily held leadership roles at Brockman Coats Gedelian & Co. and KPMG.
Emily graduated with honors from the University of Akron with a degree in accounting.
Emily is a member of the Financial Planning Association of Northeast Ohio, the American Institute of CPAs and the Ohio Society of CPAs. She is also a member of the Cleveland and Akron Estate Planning Councils.
Emily serves on the Finance Advisory Board at The University of Akron where she sits on the membership committee and the Akron Advisory Board of the YWCA. She is also a member of Torchbearers, a group of young professionals who possess a passion to serve their community. Through Torchbearers, Emily will be doing board shadowing for Mental Health America of Summit County.
Emily resides in Richfield with her husband Sean and three children.

John M. Silvis, CFA
John Silvis, a CFA charterholder, serves as Fairport Asset Management's Director of Investments. As such, John oversees the research of the Investment Team, determines the asset allocation of Fairport's model portfolios and directs investment decisions and implementation on a day-to-day basis. John provides clients, prospects and internal staff with guidance about Fairport's investment philosophy, process and performance.
John obtained his B.A. in Economics at Penn State and his MBA at Baldwin Wallace College. He is a member of the CFA Institute, as well as the CFA Society of Cleveland.
John lives in Strongsville with his wife Lori and has three children. He enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and is an avid Penn State fan.

Paul A. Zappala
Paul Zappala provides more than 35 year of experience in information technology serving both the public and private sectors, with over 10 years in the financial services industry. Paul serves as Chief Compliance Officer, Director of Operations and Director of Information Technology. Paul is member of Fairport's Operating Committee as the representative for three functional areas and provides leadership and subject matter expertise to the management of the organization.
Paul has been with Fairport since its founding, having joined Roulston & Company in 2000. Previously, Paul was Information Technology Manager at Conely, Canitano, and Associates, Data Systems Manager for the Ohio Turnpike Commission and served in the United States Marine Corps for 21 years attaining the rank of Major.
Paul is a graduate of Mary Washington University in Fredericksburg, Virginia, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
Active in the local community, Paul serves as Chairman of the Security Committee for Midtown Cleveland, Incorporated.
Paul resides in Bay Village with his wife Gretchen and has two children. |
